WoW Item Upgrades
Item upgrades, also referred as "upping" are items or enchantments that can be used to increase the stats of weapons and armor. These upgrade items add a number of points to a level gauge for the item, with their costs increasing in proportion to their rarity.
A perfectly rolled version of this armor is highly prized in the melee PvP community due to its ability to minimize the amount of damage a weapon can cause.
Type-restricted upgrades
The process of upgrading is an essential part of the crafting process. Upgrades can be used to enhance the stats of an item or increase its strength or provide an additional benefit. They also affect the appearance of the item. While certain upgrades are universal, other have special rules for weapons or armor. The wrong upgrade can ruin an item that is otherwise amazing, or even render it unusable.

In general you can only upgrade an item of equipment to the level of its most advanced counterpart. You are able to upgrade helms only to the highest level. Weapons can be upgraded up to the level equivalent of a sword. This does not increase the weapon's power of damage and can reduce its trade value.
You can upgrade an item using flightstones or crests. The amount of each depends on the item level and slot. For example upgrading a sword will cost more flightstones than upgrading bracers or a cloak. There are also discounts on the number of crests and flightstones required to upgrade an item.
When you upgrade an item, it fills its diamond-shaped indicator. Each step raises the item's Tier level by one-third. The highest Tier level is Tier 3. Depending on the item, it may require a different amount of upgrades to get to this point. It is important to note that any processes that mount a disk should not be performed during an upgrade. Also, you must make sure that the disk you are upgrading is not being used as a system drive.
Enchantment is a feature that allows you to transform white or Common items into rare or blue items. Eleanor's Enchantment Shop, located in the Capital District is where you can do it. This method does not add gems or rune slots to the equipment however, it alters its size. It increases the size of equipment by the size of a creature 2 categories smaller. For example the Blaster Pistol is considered Small and the Stormtrooper Armor is Medium.
Universal upgrades
Universal upgrades are upgrades that can be made on any type of equipment. This includes armor and weapons. Upgrade components can be obtained from Random drops or side quests. Universal upgrades can be temporary or permanent, and they can overlap with Power-Ups. They may be linear or branching.
The Universal Upgrade is when "internal technologies" can give sentient creatures new abilities that they would be unlikely to develop naturally. Examples of internal technology include prostheses or implants. This kind of improvement is not the same as medical internal technology which is designed to restore the natural capabilities. Instead, it is the beginning of an upgrade process that changes civilizations in a fundamentally different way. The universal upgrade is a tense process that can take an extended time to complete. The process can be divided into two types: complete success and partial failure.
It's similar to the ways that resort upgrades are implemented at Disney or Universal. In the case WDW, this is usually due to operational requirements like availability of rooms or the overbooking of rooms. In the case of Universal this could be to relocate guests to another resort that is open. This is not intended to be a sarcastic comment however, given the current situation, it could be difficult to avoid.
Contrary to Runes, Sigils and Jewels, which can only be applied to certain types of equipment (armor weapons, trinkets or weapons) universal upgrades can be applied to any type of gear. They can also be applied to multiple items at the same time. This makes them more adaptable than other types of upgrades. However, this flexibility can cause issues when upgrading items in a specific gear path, because it increases the value of all pieces in that path.
Before upgrading, it's important to stop PowerShell Universal and delete any existing application files. After that you can install the new files by using the GetChildItemRecurse command or Unblock-File. It is also recommended to perform a basic checks against your PSU server to ensure that it is operating correctly.
Jewels
Jewels can be incorporated into weapons, armor or accessories. They provide various stat bonuses and secondary effects based on the gemstone and reagent that is used to make them. They are found in Golden Chests, Rift Incursions and V Blood Carriers and in regular enemies, or can be bought from a Master Craftsman for karma or gold. item upgrader can be created using a jewelry table using five of the same type of reagent and 1 gem to make an item with either a higher or lower level. This process is similar to upgrading a stone at the gemcrafting table.
Jewel tiers are based on the number of modifiers they possess which means that higher-tier jewels have more modifiers than those of lower tier. The primary effect of a jewel is determined by the tier it's and the secondary effect is random; players can use luck potions to increase the probability of better secondary effects.
Like other upgrade components jewels can be put into an item with an appropriate socket to increase the. For instance, a Garnet Pebble (gemstone) and an Adorned Garnet Jewel (jewel) both provide a bonus to strength, however the Garnet Pebble will only increase regular hits while the Garnet Jewel also boosts the player's powerful attacks. Jewels can be placed in all levels of armor, weapon and accessory slots, and certain trinkets that are lesser rarity or exotic that require an unused slot.
As with other DM mechanics, gems can help to ensure that items feel special to their owners. With a range of different upgrade paths, jewels allow players to customize their equipment and find the best combination for their needs. They can upgrade their gear with new gems if they feel that the original set is no longer the best.
Requirements
Item Upgrades in WoW allow players to increase the item levels of weapons, set pieces of equipment, and trinkets above their current level of item from specific Mists of Pandaria and Warlords of Draenor sources. These upgrades improve the stats base of the item and some also have special effects (such as Dolphin's Grace, which allows players to feel like dolphins while swimming). The players can get these upgrades through any upgrader NPC or by rescuing them from items that contain them, with different types of items dropping various upgrade components.
The upgrade process can be a bit complicated however, it's not difficult. First, the player chooses the item they wish to upgrade and then click the Upgrade button. A window will open showing the various upgrades that are available for that item. The window will display the upgrade level, any type of upgrade bonus (such as Tech Points or Quality Chance) as well as the cost of the upgrade. The upgrade level will be displayed in a bar at the top of the screen. the upgrade type bonus is shown below it.
If a player chooses to upgrade the item the item will be brought to the NPC who is upgrading, who will explain the procedure for upgrading the item. The player will then need to supply the correct currency and, if required, additional materials. These requirements are based on the level, with weapons typically having stricter requirements than armor.
In addition to the mandatory upgrade components, many upgrade recipes have an 'Acceptable Materials' list. This list lists the other upgrade components can be used on the item, as well as an indication of whether the item can be guaranteed to boost or extra effect. item upgrading is crucial because the value of an upgrade could differ greatly based on its 'extras. For instance an item that is properly rolled could be worth more than a non-upgraded model.
The list of upgrade types that require valorstones or crests will be shown in a separate list below the main list. The crests and valorstones needed depend on the item level, with weapon upgrades requiring the most Valorstones.
